George W. Ferrell was born on May 19, 1955 in Sandy, Limestone County. He passed away on Dec. 6, 2017.
He lived in Dallas before settling in Coolidge. He worked at Timberlawn Hospital where he retired and he also worked for Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. He was a member of The Sandy Pioneers.
Those who preceded him in death: Worth Ferrell and Birtha Ferrell, parents; Joe Durham, Jimmy Durham, Norman Ferrell, Carlton Durham, Jr. and Madale Robinson.
Those left to cherish his memories: his wife, Cheryl Ferrell; daughter Margie Nobles and son in law, Johnny Andrews of Dallas; son, Clarence (Labreta) Nobles; brothers and sisters, Richard Durham, Travis Ferrell and Louadale McCreary; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Service and arrangements entrusted to Pearly Gates Funeral home of Mexia. Service will be held, Sat. Dec 16 at Union Memorial of Sandy.
