Carolynn Ann Williamson Thornton, wife, mother, grandmother and child of God died on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 68.
Carolynn was loving, kind, devoted and a faithful servant to our Lord and Savior. She was a woman focused on service and family. She loved quilting, reading, cooking shows, the color pink, things with bling, shopping trips with a splurge, Christian fellowship, and church on Sunday. She was witty and funny and a constant source of inspiration and love. She was the whole world in her husband’s, Will’s, eyes and the love in her children’s heart.
Carolynn would want you to know that she lived a life filled with love and that she died with her heart overflowing. She’d also want you to know Jesus, and if you don’t, she‘d want you to find a church or someone to pray with you fast! Carolynn delighted in the “little things” that she thought were “big things,” like a hug from a friend, a note from a grandchild or a phone call just to say “hi.” She was an amazing soul who walked this earth with God‘s purpose until her job was done and she was welcomed into the arms of the Holy Spirit.
